  • 15 c. popcorn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, butter, syrup and salt.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until it bubbles.

    Cook 5 minutes more.

    Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.

    Pour over popcorn.

    Bake 1 hour at 250° in two buttered 9 x 15-inch pans.

    Stir every 15 minutes.
