- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. oleo
- 6 qt. popped corn
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Boil sugar, oleo, syrup and cream of tartar for 7 minutes. Place popcorn in large roaster; pour sugar mixture over top, stirring, until coated.

2Place in oven and bake at 250° for 1 hour.

3Stir every 15 minutes.

4You can also add 2 cups salted peanuts to popcorn before baking.
