Caramel Corn

  • 8 to 12 c. popcorn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a saucepan. Cook on High for 3 to 4 minutes, until boiling.

    Stir and boil for 2 minutes.

    Add soda and stir.

    This is done on stove.

    Spray a large brown paper bag with Pam.

    Put corn in bag and pour caramel over corn.

    Roll top of bag down and shake the bag to mix popcorn and caramel.

    Microwave on High 90 seconds.

    Take out and shake. Microwave for another 30 seconds on High.
