  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. peanuts
  • 7 1/2 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients.

    Boil for 5 minutes.

    Stir in soda, then stir in peanuts.

    Place corn on a very large shallow pan.

    Pour sugar mixture over corn.

    Bake at 200° for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
