- 2 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 6 qt. freshly popped popcorn
Directions

1In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine, salt and cream of tartar.

2Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat, add baking soda and beat mixture down.

4Pour over popped corn, stirring gently until all corn is covered.

5Spread coated corn on two greased cookie sheets and bake one hour at 200°.

6Cool.

7Break apart and enjoy.

8Yields 12 servings.
