- 6 to 8 qt. popped popcorn
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white (Karo) corn syrup
- pecans or peanuts as desired
Directions

1Cook butter, salt, brown sugar and 1/2 cup white corn syrup until butter is melted.

2Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.

3Beat well.

4Add 1/2 teaspoon soda.

5Beat well.

6Pour over corn in large bowl; mix well.

7Add pecans or peanuts.

8Spread this on 2 cookie sheets. Bake at 250° for 45 minutes.

9Stir every 15 minutes to coat popcorn.

10May be frozen if any leftover.
