- 1 small can peanuts
- 8 to 10 c. popcorn (2 to 3 microwave bags)
- 8 c. Crispix cereal
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine sugar, oleo, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2Add soda and mix thoroughly.

3It will foam up.

4In large roaster, mix nuts, popcorn and cereal.

5Pour sugar mixture over popcorn mixture and toss to coat.

6Bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes. Turn onto brown bags and cool in single layer.

7Store in airtight containers.

8Makes about 20 cups.
