  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 lb. popcorn, popped

Directions

    Boil sugars, syrup and water together in large pan to soft-crack stage or 290° on candy thermometer.

    Add butter and melt.

    Add vanilla and soda; stir until thick and creamy.

    Pour over warm popcorn, mixing well.

    Add nuts.

    Shape into balls, if desired.
