  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

    cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.

    Stir until foamy and pour over the corn. Put the corn in 2 large baking pans.

    Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
