  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or oleo
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 7 1/2 qt. popped corn (unsalted)

Directions

    Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in saucepan.

    Bring to boil and boil 5 minutes.

    Take off, beat in soda.

    Place corn in large shallow pan.

    Pour over corn syrup mixture.

    Stir well. Bake in oven at 200° for 1 hour, turning corn every 15 minutes. Cool.

    Store in plastic bags.
