- 8 qt. popped corn
- 1 lb. light brown sugar (2 1/2 c.)
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Cook brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup slowly and stir often until soft ball stage.

2Remove from heat and add soda, salt and cream of tartar.

3Pour over popcorn slowly and stir well until coated.

4Spread into ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 200° for 1 hour.

5Turn often with pancake turner.

6Remove from oven and let cool.

7Ready to eat.

8Store in airtight container.
