- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. butter
- pinch of salt
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 6 qt. freshly popped corn
Directions

1Boil rapidly brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, salt and cream of tartar for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

2Add baking soda and mix thoroughly.

3Pour over fresh corn. Mix well and pour on cookie sheet.

4Bake for 1 hour in a 200° oven.

5Cool and store in airtight container.
