- 7 1/2 qt. popped, unsalted popcorn
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Cook in large saucepan over medium heat sugar, salt, syrup and margarine until soft ball forms when dropped in water (about 5 minutes).

2Add soda.

3Take corn from oven where it has been kept at 200° in a large pan since popping.

4Pour syrup mixture over corn and toss until all corn is covered.

5Return to oven for 1 hour.

6Stir every 15 minutes.

7When done, remove from oven, cool and store in plastic bags or an airtight container.
