- 2 c. dark or light brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 6 to 8 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Melt margarine in heavy pan.

2Add syrup, salt and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.

3Remove from heat. Add vanilla and baking soda; stir.

4It will foam up.

5Pour over corn in large, shallow pan.

6Put in 250° oven for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.

7When cool, place in a covered container. I use a large aluminum pan; turkey size.
