- 1 c. oleo
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light Karo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Melt butter; add brown sugar, Karo and salt.

2Bring to boil for 5 minutes.

3Remove from stove and add soda and vanilla.

4Pour over corn and mix.

5Bake in oven 1 hour at 250°.

6Stir every 15 minutes.

7(This dries the syrup on the corn so it will separate.) 250° may be too hot in some ovens, so 225° or 200° might be sufficient.
