- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- almost 2 gal. popped corn
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 5 minutes.

2Add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn.

3If desired, add peanuts to syrup.

4Pour syrup over corn. Bake 1 hour at 250°.

5Stir every 15 minutes.

6Spread on waxed paper.

7When cool, break apart.
