- 3/4 c. unpopped popcorn
- 1 stick melted oleo
- 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. light white Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Pop the popcorn (do not add salt).

2Put in a large casserole dish that has buttered bottom and sides.

3In a small heavy saucepan, add oleo, brown sugar and Karo.

4Boil 3 minutes.

5Add soda (this causes syrup mixture to foam).

6Pour over popcorn. Bake at 250° for 1 hour.

7Pour out on wax paper.

8To keep fresh, seal in a container.

9Tastes like Cracker Jacks.
