- 1 c. popcorn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1/4 c. molasses
Directions

1Pop the corn; remove unpopped kernels and set aside.

2Cook remaining ingredients over low heat to 240° or soft ball stage (2 minute boil).

3Remove from heat, then add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

4Pour over popped corn, mixing well.

5Put in 2 large dripper pans (I use 2 cookie sheets); put in 200° oven for 45 minutes. Remove onto waxed paper and cool.
