  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 8 c. popcorn, popped
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. pecan halves

Directions

    In large bowl, mix popped popcorn, nuts and coconut.

    In saucepan, combine sugar, butter and corn syrup.

    Heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil (reaches 270° to 280°).

    Pour over popcorn/nut mixture.

    Spread on buttered sheets until cool; break into pieces.
