- 1 tsp. brown sugar per custard cup
- 1 egg, beaten
- dash of salt
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place brown sugar in bottom of each custard cup.

2Mix egg, salt, milk, sugar and vanilla and blend thoroughly.

3Pour slowly into custard cups.

4Place custard cup sin pan of hot water.

5Bake at 350° until knife inserted comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Serve in cups or turn upside-down on serving plate (caramel sauce will be on top).

6Yields 4 servings.
