  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. thin cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. or more cream

Directions

    Boil together first four ingredients to 238°.

    Remove from heat and let stand until cool.

    Beat additional cream, a teaspoon at a time, until mixture becomes light in color and a soft consistency to spread on cake.
