- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. half and half or whipping cream
- 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 c. powdered sugar
Directions

1Melt butter or margarine in a 2 to 3 quart pan.

2Add brown sugar and half and half or whipping cream.

3Quickly bring to full boil.

4Boil, stirring for 1 minute.

5Remove from heat.

6Let cook at room temperature to lukewarm.

7Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
