- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Mix all together and let come to a boil for exactly 2 minutes, not stirring after sugar is dissolved.

2Take off of stove and hasten cooling by putting in a pan of ice water for a few minutes. Then start beating until creamy.

3Do not attempt to put on the cake until thick enough not to run off.

4If it gets too thick, a drop of hot water will soften it.
