- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. quick rolled oats
- 1/2 c. butter
- 24 light colored caramels
- 2 Tbsp. cream
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Combine in a mixing bowl:

21 cup flour, salt, soda, brown sugar and rolled oats.

3Cut in butter until particles are fine.

4Reserve 1 cup.

5Press remaining mixture onto bottom of greased 8-inch square pan.

6Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
