  • 49 (14 oz. bag) Kraft caramels
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 5 c. Rice Krispies cereal or Toasted Oats cereal
  • 1 c. peanuts
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Melt caramels with water in saucepan over low heat.

    Stir until sauce is smooth.

    Pour over cereal and nuts.

    Stir well. Press into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

    Sprinkle chips over top.

    Place in 200° oven for 5 minutes.

    When chips are melted, spread to form frosting.

    Cut into bars.
