  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (14 oz.) can chickpeas
  • 1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (14 oz.) can lima beans
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 4 tsp. white vinegar

Directions

    Cook bacon, onions and beef. Drain off fat. Stir in seasonings. Add all the beans. Stir and cook 1/2 hour.

    Serve with crusty buns and salad.
