- 6 cups bite-size shredded wheat cereal
- 1 cup each: raisins & coarsely chopped natural almonds
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. each: salt & baking soda
Directions

1COMBINE cereal, raisins & almonds.

2Place on a greased baking sheet.

3COMBINE brown sugar, butter, corn syrup & salt in a saucepan.

4Bring to a boil over high heat.

5Cook for 1-1/2 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Remove from heat.

7Add baking soda.

8TOSS brown sugar mixture with cereal mixture.

9BAKE at 325F for 12 minutes, stirring after 6 minutes.

10Remove & cool.
