- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. light cream
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter/margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. whole pecan halves
Directions

1Combine sugars, cream and corn syrup in 1 1/2-quart saucepan. Cook to softball stage (236°).

2Add butter and vanilla.

3Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm (110°) without stirring.

4Beat just until mixture begins to lose its gloss.

5Add nuts and stir until well coated.

6Turn out onto waxed paper.

7Separate nuts with two forks and let cool completely.

8Makes 4 cups of confection.

9Store in airtight container.
