- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Brown 1/2 cup white sugar in heavy skillet.

2Combine the other sugar, flour, egg yolk, milk, butter and vanilla in double boiler and heat.

3Pour caramelized sugar into mixture, stirring until smooth and thick.

4Pour into baked pie shell.

5Make meringue with 3 egg whites and 3 tablespoons sugar and brown.
