  • 2 gal. popped corn
  • 1 c. peanuts (if desired)
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine in saucepan brown sugar, Karo and butter.

    Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.

    Add soda and vanilla.

    Pour over popped corn in large baking dish (or 2 long pans) and bake at 250° for 30 to 45 minutes.

    Stir every 10 to 15 minutes.

    Spread on wax paper to cool.

    Store in covered container.
