- 4-qt. popped popcorn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Place popcorn in large shallow roasting pan.

2In heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan, stir sugar, margarine and corn syrup.

3Stir constantly while bringing to a boil, without stirring, boil 5 minutes.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn.

6Stir to coat well.

7Bake in 250° oven, stirring every 15 minutes for 1 hour.

8Remove from oven, spread onto foil.

9Break apart as popcorn cools.
