  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Boil brown sugar, white corn syrup, margarine and salt in saucepan for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.

    Stir well over popped corn.

    Spread in large roaster. Place in oven for 1 hour at 200°.

    Stir every 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven; press down.

    Cool.

    Store, covered.
