  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. syrup
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. peanuts, if desired
  • 4 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt in saucepan.

    Boil 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda, stirring well.

    Spread evenly over popped corn.

    Spread coated corn in large greased pan and bake at 250° for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Empty up while still warm.

    Break apart and store in airtight container.
