- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. margarine
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 6 qt. popped corn
Directions

1In large pan, combine brown sugar, syrup, margarine, salt and cream of tartar and bring to a boil.

2Cook for 5 minutes; remove from heat.

3Add baking soda; beat down.

4Pour over popcorn. Stir until all corn is covered.

5Spread popcorn onto 2 greased cookie sheets.

6Bake in preheated oven at 200° for 1 hour.

7Cool and break up and store in large plastic bags.
