- 2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat 1 1/2 cups milk.

2Add butter in a saucepan until scalded. Combine sugar, flour and salt.

3Make a paste with remaining 1/2 cup milk.

4Add to scalded milk mixture and cook until slightly thickened.

5Stirring constantly, add beaten eggs, cook 2 minutes longer.

6Remove from heat and add vanilla.

7Cool.

8Serve with whipped cream.
