- 30 caramels (about 10 oz.), unwrapped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of salt
- dash of cloves
Directions

1Melt all ingredients in the top of a double boiler.

2Place over simmering water.

3This takes about 1 hour.

4Serve.

5Keep caramel sauce warm by covering it on top of double boiler, placed over simmering water.

6If sauce becomes too thick, add a small amount of water.
