  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. half and half
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    In 2-quart pan, melt butter.

    Stir in flour until blended well.

    Gradually add half and half.

    Cook until mix is thick and smooth.

    Stir constantly.

    Add rest of ingredients and stir until well blended.

    Serve as a hot topping or refrigerate and serve cold.
