- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1In 2-quart pan, melt butter.

2Stir in flour until blended well.

3Gradually add half and half.

4Cook until mix is thick and smooth.

5Stir constantly.

6Add rest of ingredients and stir until well blended.

7Serve as a hot topping or refrigerate and serve cold.
