- 3/4 stick margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Melt sugar with margarine in saucepan.

2Cool.

3Add flour, baking powder, egg and vanilla.

4Stir in nuts.

5Spread in an 8 to 9-inch square pan.

6Bake at 325° for 10 to 30 minutes.

7Cool a few minutes, then cut into fingers.
