  • 1 c. margarine, at room temperature
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 oz. sweet milk chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 c. coconut (optional)

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add egg yolk.

    Beat until light. Stir in flour, salt and vanilla.

    Pat firmly into a lightly buttered 13 x 9-inch cake pan.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or just until light golden brown.
