- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
- 24 caramels, unwrapped
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and egg; cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly.

3Stir in walnuts. Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture.

4Press remainder of mixture in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

5Bake 15 minutes.

6In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels with condensed milk and 1/4 cup butter.

7Pour over crust.

8Top with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly.

9Cool.

10Cut into bars.
