Caramelized Figs & Yogurt

  • 5 Fresh Figs, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or Coconut Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar, Maple Syrup, or Honey
  • pinch Salt
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1-2 tablespoons Cocoa Nibs

Directions

    Thinly slice figs and set aside.

    Place a small nonstick skillet on medium low heat. Then add butter, brown sugar, and salt and mix together as the butter melts.

    Once the mixture is bubbling up a bit, place the sliced figs into the pan, letting them cook for about 1 minute.

    Flip each slice and cook the other half for about 30 seconds. Pour figs and their juices into a bow and let cool for a few minutes.

    Divide the caramelized figs and their juices between two servings of yogurt and sprinkle with cocoa nibs.
