- 2 large white or red onions, cut into 3/4-inch chunks (2 c.)
- 4 tsp. brown sugar
Directions

1In medium skillet, heat margarine or butter over medium-low heat until melted.

2Add onion.

3Cover and cook on medium-low heat until onion is tender, about 13 to 15 minutes.

4Uncover; add sugar. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until onion is golden, stirring constantly, about 4 to 5 minutes.

5Serve hot over burgers, prime ribs or beef steaks.
