- 1 bottle white Karo
- 3 c. sugar
- salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can milk
Directions

1Pour 1 bottle white Karo in a heavy pan; stir with pancake turner.

2Add 3 cups sugar and pinch of salt and bring to a rolling boil.

3Boil about 2 or 3 minutes.

4Add 1 stick of butter.

5Turn burner to medium before adding butter.

6Keep boiling.

7Add 1 can milk slowly, stirring constantly.

8Cook until right consistency, about firm ball stage (245°).

9Will burn easily.

10Pour into buttered pan or cookie sheet.

11Cut into pieces and wrap in waxed paper.
