- 1 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 7/8 c. sweet cream
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 lb. walnuts
- 1/4 lb. butter (not oleo)
Directions

1Place all ingredients in large pan.

2Bring to boil and stir all the time.

3When the mixture reaches 246° on a candy thermometer, pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan greased with butter. Mark in squares, wrap in waxed paper when cool.

4You can dip in chocolate.

5(Don't add the walnuts until just before you pour in buttered dish.)
