- 4 c. sugar
- 2 c. light Karo syrup
- 6 c. light cream
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix the Karo syrup and sugar with 2 cups cream.

2Heat to soft ball stage. Add 2 cups cream slowly and continue to cook to soft ball stage.

3Add last 2 cups of cream and cook to hard ball stage. Pour immediately onto a greased cookie pan.

4One end of pan can be covered with walnuts, which will help loosen caramels from pan. When cool, cut into squares.
