- 2 lb. sugar
- 2 c. (1 bottle) Karo syrup
- 2 cans Carnation evaporated milk (small)
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. paraffin wax
- 1 c. ground pecans
- 2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Mix sugar, Karo syrup, butter and 1/2 can milk.

2Bring to boil.

3Add balance of milk slowly as to not stop boil.

4Stir to 248° on a candy thermometer.

5Keep boiling slowly.

6Turn heat off. Add wax and nuts.

7Pour into buttered pans.

8Let sit.
-
9Score to cut.

10Wrap individually or place in small cupcake holders.
