- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 5 c. water
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put caraway seed into the water and let it come to a boil. Simmer slowly for about 5 minutes and set aside.

2Melt butter; add flour and brown lightly.

3Keep stirring to avoid burning.

4Remove from heat and add paprika and salt.

5Strain the water into the paprika and salt, stirring all the time.

6Return to heat and simmer slowly for about 10 minutes.

7Serve with egg drops, or with eggless pasta or noodles.
