Cardamon Rice for Curry

- 720 ml Rice (Bastami, brown, or Japanese)
- 1/2 tsp Rock salt (I used Himalayan salt)
- 400 ml or more Water
- 6 Cardamon (whole pod)
Directions

1Rinse the rice well.

2Add the salt, water, and cardamon, and let sit for 20 minutes.

3Cover with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat.

4Reduce the heat to medium and steam.

5This takes a bit less than 15 minutes on my stove.

6Once steamed, fluff it all up.

7Enjoy it with curry.

8This goes well with mild and creamy fish curry, too..

9For guests, I remove the cardamon from the rice before serving.

10Feel free to serve it as you like.
