  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • juice and grated rind of 1 large lemon or 1 1/2 small lemons

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Beat yolks; add to butter and sugar. Add flour, grated rind and juice.

    Fold in beaten whites.

    Pour into dish.

    Place dish in pan of water.

    Bake 45 minutes in a 350° oven.
