- 1 1/2 lb Stew meat (cut into smaller bite size pieces)
- 1 salt
- 1 pepper
- 1 garlic powder
- 1 onion powder
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions

1Bring pot of water to boil.

2Sprinkle meat with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, and flour.

3Mix well.

4Add 3 tbsp of vegetable oil to a separate pot.

5Cook meat over medium heat until all sides are browned.

6Add boiling water, covering meat, to top of pot.

7Cover and simmer for 1- 2 hours.

8Check meat regularly for tenderness and if water needs to be added.

9Sauce can be thickened by adding flour.

10I also add chili pepper and a little tomato sauce to give it a red color.
